Henco Furniture has joined forces with McNairy County Adult Education through a program affectionately labeled Hearts in Action. This partnership is designed to help meet the educational and personal needs of the individuals and families served by the center.

McNairy County Adult Education Department houses programs to serve the entire family. Besides coordinating the local GED program, the Adult Education Center includes a job training center, Even Start, Families First, the Family Resource Center, a literacy program, and community education in areas of interest ranging from pet grooming to cake decorating.

“Because we serve such a diverse population, our needs are great” explains Patsy Pearson, Adult Education Supervisor. The facility networks with a number of agencies and businesses to meet the needs of families in McNairy County. “We do not have the resources to meet all the needs of the people we serve,” shares Family Resource Center Director Pam Vandiver, “so we welcome the opportunity to join hands with Henco Furniture and the community in this effort.”

The Henco employee family extends this service opportunity to the entire community. We have set up a collection site inside the entrance of our showroom to receive the month’s donations requested on the calendar below.
