Tom and Sherry Hendrix

Tom and SherryHenco Furniture started as Tom Hendrix’s retirement project at the age of 65.  He decided against retirement to start Henco with no prior furniture or retail experience.

He and his wife, Sherry, had a vision to create the most up-to-date furniture store in the mid-south.  Henco has a Disney World flavor that makes for an incredible shopping experience, fun for the whole family.  You can stop at Henco’s Whistle Stop Café or the old fashioned Soda Fountain for good food and relaxation.  We built a replica of a West Tennessee Main Street that brings back fond memories of walking down your hometown main street.  All of our furniture is arranged into shopping trips off this beautiful street making it easy to find what you are looking for.

Recently, there has been an addition of a Home Center consisting of a complete line of kitchen cabinets, countertops, flooring, and lighting making for a one stop shopping experience with interior designers who can help you outfit and furnish any size home.

Henco Furniture & Home Center is 200,000 square feet or 4 1/2 football fields making Henco one of the largest stores in the country.

Everything is discounted up-front!

Henco has been built on the notion of “get the price right up-front on quality merchandise” and this is why families drive past many furniture stores from five surrounding states to outfit and furnish their homes.  We are very grateful for the miles driven to Henco.
